My infant daughter is accompanying me to the US on a J visa, from the UK. Will I be allowed to bring her with me to the Visa interview? Or will I need to arrange child-care?

Can I take my baby for US visa interview?

The minor applicant's parent or legal guardian must attend the interview in the child's place. Children 14 and older must attend their interviews in person and provide fingerprints.

Can we take kids for visa interview?

If embassy allows taking baby during interview then its allowed for all. If Embassy does not allow taking baby for interview then its a not allowed for all.

Can a baby apply for US visa?

A: Yes, a child must have his/her own passport to receive a visa. If the child does not have a passport, or an expired passport that can be extended, he/she will have to receive a passport waiver.
